If you asked us a few weeks ago about things we didn’t think we’d see in the motoring world, Travis Pastrana hooning a Bentley would be near the very top. But here we are. In a new video you can watch as the Bentley Supersports goes full send with the American stuntman and drifter at the wheel.

I knew the Supersports would have a lot of power but I was happily surprised by how nimble and fun it was to drive. I’ve never driven a production-based car to film a video of this magnitude before, without a clutch or modified steering angle, I had my concerns – but the Supersports exceeded all of my expectations. It was exactly what I had hoped for – the perfect combination of luxury and performance

RWD FUN
A few weeks ago Bentley launched the Supersports version of its Continental Coupe. This is the first RWD version of the two-door sportscar. Bentley was keen to underline the cars sporting credentials by handing it to Pastrana. The video was shot entirely on Bentley’s campus and Dream Factory in Crewe, England.
The Supersports is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4,0-litre V8. It has a stronger crankcase, uprated cylinder heads and larger turbochargers. As a result it produces 490 kW and 800 N.m of torque. Ditching the AWD and hybrid systems helps to shed a significant deal of mass. Bentley says that the large coupe will blitz the 0-100 km/h run in 3,7 seconds and top out at around 310 km/h.

Special Guests
The film includes many cars from Bentley’s past. These include both generations of Continental GT3 racecar, the 2003 Le Mans winning Speed 8, and even the W16-powered Hunaudières concept car from 1999.In addition, both the Pikes Peak Bentayga and Pikes Peak Continental GT appear.
More cars from Bentley’s Heritage Collection make special appearances, in the shape of five pre-war Bentleys led by a 1929 Team Blower, and followed by two more Blowers, a Speed Six and a 1926 3 Litre Speed Model.
The final cameo is Bentley’s chairman and CEO, Frank-Steffen Walliser, who sets to work with a road sweeper when he sees tyre marks across Bentley’s campus.
