Xiaomi has been making waves with its Xiaomi SU7 Ultra. The electronics giant’s battery powered sedan is the company’s first foray into the performance sector. The uber-powerful four-seater is pretty handy at drifting (as we saw in this earlier video). Now the Xiaomi SU7 goes snow drifting in a new video called Chongli Drift.

Packing Power
As a reminder, the four-dour, four-seater Xiaomi SU7 packs a serious punch. Its electric motors have a combined 500 kW of power. As a result it can blast from rest to 100 km/h in 2,78 seconds. Those figures would make it quick in a straight line. In addition, it seems to have proper dynamic credentials as seen by its recent Nurburgring lap time.
Headlines
The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra prototype was recently featured in numerous automotive websites as it set a Nürburgring Nordschleife lap time of 6 min 22 sec. That time makes it the fastest ‘production’ car around the famous German circuit. It is also 24 seconds quicker than the car has lapped the Green Hell on a previous occasion.
A Fun Side
The Xiaomi SU7 goes snow drifting on one of the downhill courses used at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. The video shows the sedan sliding down the slope and through slippery mountain passes. In addition it heads for a frozen lake where it meets more cars such as a Ford Raptor and Porsche Cayman for some tandem fun. It reminds us of the videos made by the late Ken Block.
